SCHOEPPACH, Edna M. - Age 92, of Linden/Fenton, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Genesys Convalescent Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 24, 2009 at Fenton United Methodist Church, 119 S. Leroy St, Fenton. Pastor E. Taveirne officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Fenton United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, the American Cancer Society or MDA. Mrs. Schoeppach was born December 13, 1916 in Jennings, MI, the daughter of Owen Jay and Lillian Mae (Sweet) Spurrier. She married Max Schoeppach December 30, 1937 and he preceded her in death September 4, 2000. She had been employed by Kith Haven as an office worker and receptionist. She was a member of Fenton United Methodist Church. Surviving are: son, John J. "Jack" and wife Jean Schoeppach of Linden; 3 grandchildren, Jan and husband Nick Amato, John T. and wife Anita Schoeppach; Jill and husband Duke Shegos; 9 great grandchildren, Anthony, Alex and Maria Amato, Rachel, Sydney, Riley and Taylor Shegos, Brooke and Payton Schoeppach; brother, William and wife Theresa Spurrier of Lakeland, FL; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Orland and Edward Spurrier; sister, Vernice Masak. Online tributes may be posted at the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
