Edna L. Fenner

FENNER, Edna L. - Age 87, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, November 24 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-9 PM Wednesday, and 6-9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Fenner was born January 29, 1919 in Midland, the daughter of James and Maude (Munson) Spencer. She was married to Max Fenner on February 23, 1939 in Davison and he preceded her in death on May 16, 1991. She retired from A.C. with 30 years of service. She was a member of Calvary Methodist Church. She has been a resident of Swartz Creek for over 30 years. Mrs. Fenner enjoyed her family, bingo, reading, and sewing. She is survived by her four children, Darwin Leonard Fenner and wife Patricia  of Traverse City, Judith Ellen Newman of Swartz Creek, Audrey K. Hunter of Swartz Creek, Michael D. Fenner and wife Madge of Blissfield; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister in-law, Vera Spencer of Florida; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Max; daughter, Beverly; 4 sisters, Elsie, Eva, Eviline, Ethel and brother, Elmer.
