Edna Bock

BOCK, Edna L. - age 89, of Linden, died Friday, December 26, 2008 at her son's residence in Oak Park. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Hope Lutheran Church, 7355 Silver Lake Rd., Linden with Rev. Lawrence Eckart officiating. Interment will be held at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley, MI. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Sunday and Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Hope Lutheran Church. Mrs. Bock was born November 28, 1919 in Centerline, MI, the daughter of Fred and Freda (Kliest) Qualmann. She married Robert William Bock, Sr. on June 22, 1940 and he preceded her in death on May 30, 2008. Surviving are: two sons, Robert W. Bock, Jr. and wife, Gloria, Daniel F. Bock and wife, Hideko; four grandchildren, Christine Brown, Karen Strother, Daniel Bock, Jr., Jason Bock; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Elmer Qualmann; two sisters, Mildred Thorp and Eleanor Kuehn.
