TOMASZEWSKI, Edmund L., Sr. - Age 89, of Swartz Creek, died Sunday, May 24, 2015. Cremation has taken place and no local services will be held. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Ed was born September 3, 1925 in Swanton, OH the son to John and Josephine (Czarnescki) Tomaszewski. He married Anna Leona "Lee" Apple April 1, 1944 in Ohio. He retired in 1987 from GM Corvette Plant in Bowling Green, KY. He had resided in Swartz Creek for the past 3 years coming from Crossville, TN. Ed was loved and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Surviving are: his wife of 71 years, Lee; grandchildren, Toni Natchez, Peoria Chloe Tomazewski, and Shay Carl Natchez; great grandchildren, Jordan, Brandon, Gavin, Aiden, and Finn; daughter-in-law, Jenifer Thomas; sisters-in-law, Nina Harris and Iris Beatrice Apple; special niece, Evelyn Tomaszewski; several other nieces and nephews, and his best friend, Sam. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Mary Ann Natchez; son, Edmund Tomaszewski, Jr.; and 10 brothers and sisters.
