Edith A. Spainhower

SPAINHOWER, Edith A., age 70 of Flint, died Monday, February 22, 2010 at Genesys Health Park. Mrs. Spainhower was born in Detroit, August 27, 1939 a daughter of Nicholas and Helen (Hayes) Pakosz. She has been a Flint area resident for many years. Mrs. Spainhower retired from Grand Blanc Schools after working over 25 years. She enjoyed camping, reading and annual family fish fries up north. Surviving are her husband Delmar, a son, Brian, 4 grandchildren; Laurina, Brian, Jr., Brendan and Zachary. Also surviving is a sister, Nancy Kenyon (Richard); 2 brothers; Richard Pakosz (Sharon), Michael Pakosz (Janice) many nieces, nephews and several step-sisters and step-brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Roxanne M. Spainhower , April 18, 2009. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Her nephew, Mr. Terry Spainhower will officiate. The family will welcome visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 12:00 noon until service time.
