Edith Pfundt

PFUNDT, Edith Janet - Age 79, of Flint, died Thursday, March 2, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 30, 2017 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to Carriage Town Ministries, 605 Garland St., Flint, MI 48503. Edith was born March 26, 1937 in Sault Ste. Marie, the daughter of Harry and Ellen (Roo) Evans. She was a 1955 graduate of Flint Central High School. She had resided in the Flint area for the past 75 years. Edith married Donald Pfundt January 21, 1956 and he preceded her in death September 22, 2012. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and painting, but her greatest joy was her family. Surviving are: children, Don (Laurie) Pfundt of Flushing, Daniel (Gretchen) Pfundt of Flushing, and Tamara McAlindon of Flint; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Joyce) Evans of Mio and Wayne (Jan) Evans of Montrose; sisters, Ruby Manutes of Flint and Julie (Andy) Nowyorkas of Burton; and several nieces and nephews.
