MIKULENAS, Edith "Faye", age 69, of Burton, formerly of Fenton, passed away surrounded by her family, Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Genesys Hospice Care Center, Goodrich. Funeral Services will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Rev. Don Frey officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2011 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Faye was born August 9, 1941 in Lee County, Virginia the daughter of the late C. Bascom and Hazel (Castle) Smith. She will be loved and cherished forever. Surviving are, Son, Terry Bryant and wife, Kelly of Florida; grandchildren, Cassandra, Spencer, T.J. Madeline; 2 sisters, Charlotte Osborne and husband, Jimmy of Burton, Lois Dearlove and husband, Bill of Burton; brother, Harold Smith and wife, Marilyn of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews; close friend, Juanita Bryant. For 16 years Faye was family to; Greg & Linda Hathaway of Fenton, Richard Hathaway of Livonia, Steven & Connie Hathaway of Swartz Creek; 5 grandchildren, Bill Hoffman and wife, Alicia, Angie Common and husband, Chris, Kayce Hathaway, Tony Hathaway, Allison Hathaway; great-granddaughter, Summer Hoffman and unborn babygirl Common. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Mikulenas; 2 brothers, Bill and Wayne; and longtime companion, Robert Hathaway.
