Earl Alfred STUBERG

STUBERG, Earl Alfred - Age 87, of Fenton died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, November 5, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 12:00 PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Michigan Chapter of the American Cancer Society. Mr. Stuberg was born February 5, 1923 in Brandon, MN, the son of John Peter and Nellie (Arntson) Stuberg. He was a graduate of Brandon High School in Brandon, MN. Mr. Stuberg married Dorothy M. Biscupski February 19, 1955 in Adrian and she preceded him in death September 22, 2001. Earl was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired as a civilian worker. He had resided in Fenton since 1996 coming from Oscoda, where he had resided for 30 years. He was a member of the Oscoda V.F.W. Post #3735 and the D.A.V. Flint Post #122. Surviving are: children, Judy Hempel and husband Kirk of San Diego, CA, Sandy Stuberg of Howell, MI, step- daughters; Linda Goett and husband Terry of Fenton, MI and Donna Sack of Georgia; grandsons, Jason Stuberg, Matthew Meyer and Christopher Goett; granddaughters, Melissa Meyer and Michelle Heidger; great grandchildren, Tristan, Hunter and Catherine.
