Earl Henderson QUICK

QUICK, Earl Henderson - age 77, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, December 12, 2009 at his residence. Interment of cremated remains will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Mr. Quick was born July 19, 1932 in Dillon, SC, the son of Arthur and Viola (Deaver) Quick. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict where he received a Purple Heart. He retired from DuPont as an electrician in 1991 after over 40 years of service and had served on the Mundy Township board for five years. Surviving are: wife, Diane J. of Swartz Creek; five children, Michael Quick, Teresa (Steve) Simek, Katherine (Milan) Telesmanich, Patrick (Sandi) Quick, John (Lesley) Quick; eight grandchildren; sister, Shirley (Milton) McKenzie. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Claremae and Jerome McGowen and brother, Harold Quick.
