DUCHARME, E. Maxine, age 74 of Clayton Twp., died Sunday, May 29, 2005 atbSelect Specialty Hospital in Flint. Â She was born in Flint on April 16, 1931 the daughter of Walter and Cecilia (Stefanski) Jakiemiec and was a lifelong resident of the Flint area. Â She was a graduate of All Saints High School. Â She had been employed at the Genesee County Treasurers office, and Powers High Schools Cafeteria. Â Mrs. Ducharme also was co-owner of M & D Catering and had been retired from Comfort Care. Â She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, P.L.A.V. Post 8 Ladies Auxiliary, P.A.R.A. Retirees Group, Daughters of Isabella Circle #530 and a member of Dom Polski. Â Surviving is her husband Walter; children, Bob and wife Trisha; Wally and wife Jan; Fred and wife Angie; Dan and wife Terri; Jim; Bill and wife Linda; Tim and wife Beth; Nancy and husband Dale. Â There are 26 grandchildren; one great-grandchild a brother, Walter Jakiemiec; sisters, Joan Ives and Roasalie McKerchie. Â She was preceded in death by a son, Richard, a sister Cecilia and a grandson, Kyle. Â Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 2, 2005 at All Saints Catholic Church G-4063 W. Pierson Rd. Rev. Fr. Anthony Majchrowski officiating. Â Burial will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Â The family will receive friends at the Sharp Funeral Home, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 P.M. Tuesday and Wednesday. Â Tuesday, the P.L.A.V. Post 8 ladies auxiliary will have a prayer service at the funeral home. Â The parish Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home followed by a K.of C. Council 695 service at 7:30 P.M. Â Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Powers High School or to St. Judes Childrens Hospital. Â The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff at McLaren Regional Medical Center and to Select Speciality Hospital for their outstanding care during her stay.
