Duane Dart

DART, Duane Arnold - Age 81, of Flint, died September 5, 2020. Funeral services will be held 1PM Saturday, September 12th at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Deacon Rod Amon officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 10AM until time of service on Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Swartz Creek Food Pantry. Duane was born June 24, 1939, the son of George and Orilla (Muchler) Dart. Duane proudly served his country in the U S Army. He retired from General Motors, Buick City with 30 years of service. Duane enjoyed gardening and always had a routine starting with morning coffee at Starlite Coney Island. Surviving are: siblings, Harold (Wanda) Dart of Swartz Creek, Gladys (Jerry) Merkle of Colon, Russell (Carole) Dart of PA, Ralph (Pam) Dart of Swartz Creek, Kenny (Norajane) Dart of Swartz Creek and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Orilla Dart; siblings, Shirley Dart, Dorothy Wolfe, Robert Dart, Donald Dart, Betty Johnson, Joann Wakeman.
