Duane George Brown

Duane "Duee" Brown, Age 58, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on March 12, 2025, from complications of pneumonia, surrounded by family and friends.

Duane was born on June 13, 1966 in Jackson, MI to Larry "Bill" and Rosie Brown. Duane graduated from Jackson High School in 1984.

Duane was a respected musician. His love of music was more than a hobby, it was a life long devotion that defined his spirit and character. He was a collector of records and instruments, and a true historian of music, dedicating countless hours to researching, listening to, and sharing his vast music knowledge with friends.

Remaining to carry on Duane’s memory are his parents Larry "Bill" and Rosie Brown; sister and brother-in-law Dawn and Jeff Gier; Aunts Deb Grettum, Marilyn Feldman, and Judy (John) Phebus; Uncle Jerry (Sandie) Zyckowski; lifelong friends Michael (Dawn) Silvio and Gray (Dina) Motsinger; and many more family and friends.

Preceding Duane in death was his favorite niece, Baily Gier.

There will not be a service at this time. The family will celebrate his life at a later date.
