Duane E. Anderson, age 79, of Linden, passed away on February 26, 2025. Visitation will be held at 5pm - 8pm on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Sharp Funeral Home - Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street in Linden. Visitation will resume the following day at 1pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 2pm on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Argentine Church of the Nazarene, 16248 S. Seymour Road in Linden. Duane will be laid to rest next to his late wife, Betty Lou, the following Monday, March 24, 2025, at 1:30pm at Argentine Cemetery. Duane was born on October 9, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Carroll & Elsie (Coon) Anderson. He attended Flint Northern High School, and U of M Flint. Duane was employed as an electrician for 47 years at General Motors. He was a proud Veteran of the US Army, and member of both the VFW of Fenton and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting and played many games of billiards. Some of his fondest memories where fishing trips with friends and family to Canada.
Duane is survived by his son, William "Bill" (Lia) Anderson; daughter, Christine (Kirt) Estep; seven grandchildren, August, Austin, Adrian, Taylor, Paige, Kennedy and Marshall and several great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister, Barbara (Mike) Burdgick; brother, Bill (Judy) Anderson; stepsisters, Debbie and Sherrie and sister-in-law, Vickie Benko.
In addition to his parents, Duane was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Anderson and stepsister, Sandy.
