HALLS, Dr. William Alford - Age 76, of Flushing, died June 21, 2015. Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, June 25 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 9 AM until the time of the service Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Hospice House of Shiawassee County, 2005 E. Copas Rd., Owosso, MI. 48867. William was born July 1, 1938 in Flint the son of William and Margaret (Alford) Halls. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He married Kathleen Diamond in 1984. He retired from Swartz Creek Community Schools with many years of service. He was an avid fly fisherman, storyteller, and a big MSU Spartan fan. Surviving are: wife Kathleen; sons, William Knox (Kimberly) Halls of Flint, Bradley Frederick (Heather) Halls of Waterford; step-son, Michael (Tracy) Sargent of Flint; grandchildren, Kristine Halls, Adam Halls, Emily Halls, Cameron Halls, Jordan Sargent, Noah Sargent, and Nikole Sargent; sister, Margaret (Ben) Wilson of Traverse City.
