Dr. Earl Alexander HALL

HALL, Dr. Earl A. - Age 87, of Flint, died November 15, 2011 at his residence. A memorial gathering will be held 12-8 PM Sunday November 27, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Salvation Army. Earl was born March 19, 1924 in Flint, the son of Earl and Ruby Hall. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force, serving in WWII. He served in Italy as a Bombardier and flew over 50 missions, receiving Air Medals and DFC. He was a 1942 graduate of Flint Central High School and a 1948 graduate of Northern Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Hall was a member and had served as President of the Flint Lions Club. Surviving are: wife, Jeanne; sons, Craig (Joanne) Hall, Chris (Kim) Hall; grandchildren, Julie, Jeff and Michelle; sister, Marion Dolan.
