BURNS, Dr. Judith Ann - Age 74, of Linden, died Thursday, July 26, 2018 in Ft. Belvoir, VA. Services will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden, with burial immediately following at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Gift of Life, Judith being a recipient of a heart transplant 16 years ago. Judith was born February 17, 1944 in Wyandotte, MI, the daughter of Cy and Mary (Horvath) Noland. She was a graduate of Melvindale High School, she received a Bachelors Degree from Central Michigan University, and received her Master Degree and Doctorates Degree from Western Michigan University. She married Rex Burns January 30, 1965. Judith and Rex resided in Linden since 2001 coming from Coloma. Surviving are: her husband of 53 years, Rex; daughters, Constance Burns (Jeff Senser) and Stacie (Jeff) Dahley; grandsons, Nolan and Parker Dahley; brother, James (Donna) Noland; sister, Janice (Jack) McKnight; sister-in-law, Sandy Noland; and several nieces and nephews.
