LONDON, Dovie, age 89, of Grand Blanc, formerly of Flint, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Grand Blanc Rehabilitation Center. Funeral Services will be 1PM Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Robert Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be 5-8PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Dovie was born November 10, 1918 in Pitts, Arkansas the daughter of Hosea and Alice (Cravens) Hurst. She married Leon T. Londons in May 1940, they had 2 sons, Thomas and Warren, and then moved to Flint in 1953. She had been married to Leon for 51 years at the time of his death in 1991. Surviving are her 2 sons, Thomas (Sharon) London of Lennon, Warren (Karen) london of Flint; 5 grandchildren, Sherrie, Alan, Michael, Emily, Warren II "Buddy"; 10 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Pansy Arbuckle of Shreveport, LA; longtime family friend, Jay English and close friend, Elmer Kent.
