Douglas G. LOBDELL Sr.

LOBDELL Sr., Douglas Grant, age 71, of Durand, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009 at Heritage Manor. Services will be held Monday, September 21, 2009 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. Memorial Donations may be made to Avalon Hospice. Douglas was born August 31, 1938 in Corunna the son of the late Warner J and Lois Lucille (Hemenway) Lobdell. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had been employed in highway construction before retirement. Surviving are his son, Douglas Grant Lobdell, Jr. of Georgia; granddaughter, Kylie Nicole Lobdell; step-granddaughter, Taylor Waffle; brother, Bradford (Katy) Lobdell of Montrose; 2 sisters, Judith Chapman of Durand, Shirley (John) Armor of Flint; close friend, Shirley Waffle; and many nieces and nephews.
