Douglas G. DAMERON

DAMERON, Douglas G., age 50 of Grand Ledge, formerly of West Branch and Flint, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 from an automobile accident. Doug was born in Flint on January 7, 1959 the son of Warren D. and Louise (Cook) Dameron. He graduated from Kearsley High School. Doug was employed by General Motors Corp and retired after 30 years of service. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing poker. Doug loved his son, family and his friends. Surviving is his son, Steven Dameron of Nevada; his father Warren Dameron (Marilyn) of Florida; his three brothers, Gary Schmitter of Florida, Ricky Dameron and wife Sue of Colorado and David Dameron and wife Jennifer of Florida. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and friends. Doug was prededed in death by his mother Louise. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 16, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Pastor Frank Yount will officiate.
