Douglas "Tony" Carr

CARR, Douglas A. "Tony" - age 61, of Fenton, died Friday, June 15, 2007 at his residence. Services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Clio. Visitation will be held 2-6 PM Sunday and Monday at the funeral home. Douglas was born July 20, 1945. He was a 1963 graduate of Flushing High School and had been self employed his entire life. Tony is survived by: wife, Margaret Oakes-Carr; five loving sons, Brian and wife, Julie of Grand Haven, Greg and Kim Maschari of Leonard, Jeff and wife, Rachel of Waterford, Peter of Fenton, Jamie and wife, Kathleen of Howell; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Loved and supported throughout his family, Tony battled cancer and lived a peaceful life. Among the immediate family supporting him were Alan and Kathy Carr, Kathy and Brian Vazquez, Tim Carr, Marcus and Lindsay Joseph, Hugh and Marlene Carr. Tony spent his life (everyday) educationally and morally supporting his entire family in their lives. He was also known as "The Professor". He will be sadly missed by all and always remembered.
