CAMERON, Douglas Glenn "Doug" - Age 56 of Burton, went to his Forever Home on December 17, 2021. Funeral Service 2PM January 3, 2022 ("Doug's Birthday") at Sharp Funeral Home Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. A Tribute Luncheon to follow at the Fenton VFW Post 1148 N. Leroy St., Fenton. Visitation 11 AM until 2PM Monday January 3, 2022 at the Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions would be appreciated to the American Heart Association in Doug's memory.

Doug was born January 3, 1965 in Garden City to the Late Jason Walter and Margaret (Heinlein) Cameron. He graduated from Pontiac Central High School in June 1984. Doug attended Vocational Ed where he mastered the Art of Masonry, working in that field for 29+ years. He later worked 4 years at a friend's Appliance Store delivering appliances. His career wasn't over after that he decided he wanted to become a truck driver and went to school and drove over the road for 4 years until his medical issues arose.Doug was an avid sports fan. He especially loved the Detroit Lions and Tigers, and also attending NASCAR races inTalladega Alabama yearly. Doug enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, golf, and bowling. He recently took up archery where he got his first Deer this fall. He also loved going "Up North" to Sugar Island, MI where he had property, he also loved spending time with his family. Doug married "the love of his life" Vicki Willis in Las Vegas NV at the Graceland Chapel on February 14, 2004.

Doug is survived by, his wife of almost 18 years,Vicki; brothers, Jason (Linda) Cameron, and Michael Cameron; sister, Jacqueline Cameron; sisters - in -law, Evelyn Schultz, and Stacy (Jack) Morlock; brother in law, Frank (Gayle) Schultz; nephews, T.J., Gavin, and Bareck; nieces, Nicole, Ashley, Lydia, and Shauna; his beloved dogs, Scooby, and Skylar; cousins; and many good friends who will miss him very much.

Doug was preceded in death by: his parents, Jason and Margaret Cameron; father amd mother in law, Franze and Esther Schultz; and brother, Richard Cameron. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
