WORK, Dorothy M. - Age 86, of Linden, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden, performed by her grandson, Rev. Sub-Deacon Lazarus D. Burial in Marion United Methodist Cemetery, Cunningham, TN. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 PM until the time of the service. Dorothy was born September 12, 1929 in Clarksville, TN, the daughter of Lee and Nora "Big Mama" (Trotter) Miller. She married Donald Work December 3, 1950 and he preceded her in death July 30, 2012. She retired from Ford Motor Company in 1986. Dorothy was the loving mother of Albert Work, Linda Lindsay, Mark (Donna) Work, Mike Work, and Alan Work. She is also survived by, 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; brother, Joseph Miller; sister, Mary Chaffe; and several nieces and nephews.
