STOWE, Dorothy Louise (Butler) - Age 85, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, May 11, 2020. Private services will be held. Service will be live streamed to the public from our website at 3 PM on Thursday, May 14, 2020. Pastor Glenn Tatterson officiating. Dorothy was born on April 21, 1935, in Florence, Alabama, the daughter of Johnny and Mary (Warren) Butler. She worked in the cafeteria at GM Service Parts Operations in Swartz Creek for many years. Dorothy was a full time caregiver to her son Steve. She loved spending time with her family and she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her 5 children, Steve Stowe, Jim Stowe (Lori Downs), Lance (Cheryl) Stowe, Tressa (Jim) Compton and Don Stowe; 16 grandchildren, Jamie, Tina (Jeremy), Sheyenne, Dallas (Alesia), Sierra, Kristin (Jason), Kyle, Danielle (Neal), Zachary (Haley), Travis, Kate, Devin (fiancé, Conor), Derick, Wayne, Ethan and Tori; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Sullivan and many nieces and nephews.
