Dorothy Snyder

SNYDER, Dorothy Mae -- Age 88, of Fenton, died January 27, 2009 at Crestmont Health Care Center. Graveside services will be held 2 PM Saturday, January 31 at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be 3-7 PM Friday, and 10 AM - 1:30 PM Saturday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Dorothy was born July 2, 1920 in Barbersville, KY, the daughter of Charles Lee and Maude Minerva Helton. She was married to Raymond W. Snyder in 1947. She was raised in Kentucky and had resided in Paragould, Arkansas for many years before coming to Michigan. Surviving are: husband, Raymond; granddaughter, Courtney Sutherby of New Orleans, LA; sister Georgia Pickard of Kentucky; sister-in-law, Loretta Hayes of Fenton; sister-in-law, Georgie Blevins of Warren; nieces and nephews, Eunie, Phyllis, Barbara, and Jackie.
