MATECHEK, Dorothy Kathleen "Kathy" - Age 72, of Corunna, went to be with the Lord whom she loved on Thursday, September 28, 2017. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to Heart to Heart Hospice. Kathy was born August 23, 1945 in Albion, Michigan, the daughter of the late Stephen L. and Ruby E. (Dallas) Matechek. Kathy enjoyed adult coloring books and playing bingo at Durand Senior Care where she had lived for several years. She retired as a housekeeper from Shiawasee Medical Care Facility with 31 years of service. Surviving are: sisters, Marion (Gene) Ellsworth, Leanna (Dick) Ball; nephews, Alan (Susan) Ellsworth, Steve (Jessica) Ellsworth, Josh (Nova) Ellsworth, Rich (Hope) Ball, Tracy (Angel) Ball; nieces, Robin (Dave) Carlsen, Kelly (Bob) Hopton; several great-nieces and nephews; and caregiver Robyn Spencer.
