Dorothy Mashburn

MASHBURN, Dorothy Boris - age 78, of Swartz Creek, died November 14, 2021. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Monday, November 22, 2021 at Mundy Presbyterian Church, 3506 W. Grand Blanc Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 with Rev. Annie Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mundy Presbyterian Church. Dorothy was born February 8, 1943 in Flint, the daughter of Peter Boris and Anna (Janik) Cherba. She married Royce Mashburn on June 29, 1973. Dorothy loved art, painting, flower and vegetable gardening, sewing, dancing, especially clogging. She and her husband enjoyed horseshoes and fishing while spending their winters in Florida. Surviving are: husband, Royce Mashburn; children, Karla Larobardiere, Tracy (Jeff) Miller, Peter (Mary) Larbobardiere, Royce (Kim) Mashburn, Jr., Joe (Teresa) Mashburn, and Caroline Fechik; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; siblings, Shirley Hicks, Robert (Joyce) Cherba, and Steve (Jan) Cherba.
