LAWLER, Dorothy Marguerite - age 101 of Ocala, FL, formerly of Flint, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Funeral services will be held 5:00 PM Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until the time of service Thursday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gaines. Dorothy was born April 2, 1911 the daughter of Eugene and Bernia (Cooper) Jourdain. She loved music and fishing. Dorothy retired from Taystee Bread and moved to Florida following retirement. She played piano and organ at St. Peters Church in Big Pine Key, FL. Beloved mother of Joyce Hopper, Marjorie (Clifton) Orr and Eugene (Wanda) Schaaf; Also surviving are: 16 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lawler; former husband, Clair Schaaf; son, Robert Schaaf; daughter, Mary Johnson; granddaughter, Sandra Lynn; brother, Archie Jourdain and sister, Mildred Whitcraft.
