JONES, Dorothy E.  Age 77, of Flint Township, died Friday, September 12, 2003 at her residence. Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, September 16, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd.(just south of Hill Rd.), Flint with Pastor Steve Wood officiating. Interment will be held at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 1-5 and 7-9 PM Sunday and Monday at the funeral home. An O.E.S. Memorial Service will be held 7 PM Monday at the funeral home under the auspices of Linden Chapter #175 O.E.S. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to McLaren Hospice or Faith United General Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones was born September 17, 1925 in Cash, AR, the daughter of W. Cleve and Clara Elizabeth (Ellis) Russell. She married Harmon O. Jones on December 10, 1955 in Flint. Mrs. Jones was a member of Faith United General Baptist Church, life member and past Worthy Matron of Swartz Creek Chapter #430 O.E.S., member of 091 Square Dance Club and the Flushing Road Runners. Surviving are: husband, Harmon O. Jones of Flint Township; four children, Michael L. and wife, Sherry Smith of Memphis, TN, Linda Ann and husband, Tony DeLao, Randy Jones, Russell Jones, all of Flint; five, grandchildren, Christina Pratt of Detroit, Correy Pratt of Flint, Matthew L. Jones, Brian Jones, both of Swartz Creek, Timothy Jones of Flint; several step-grandchildren; sister, Esther Hayes of Big Rapids; many nieces and nephews.
