HYRMAN, Dorothy Margaret - age 94, of Swartz Creek, died April 26, 2024. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 with Rev. Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 PM - 7 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM. Visitation will also be held from 10 AM - 11 AM Wednesday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice. Dorothy was born May 22, 1929 in Coalport, PA, the daughter of Martin and Mildred (Murjas) Backa. She married Frank Hyrman on June 18. 1949 and he preceded her in death on May 9, 2001. Dorothy was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and the Swartz Creek VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are: sons, Thomas (Linda) Hyrman and Joseph (Diane) Hyrman; daughter, Christine (Richard) Thiell; 12 grandchildren; and many beloved great-grandchildren.
