Dorothy R. GOOCH

Gooch, Dorothy R., age 80, passed away Monday, March 30, 2009 at the Durand Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will 1 PM Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, with Rev. Watkins officiating. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8PM Wednesday. Dorothy was born in Goodrich the daughter of Ira and Dora (Anthony) Eastridge. She married Arthur Gooch in 1948. She had been a member of the Bancroft Lions Club, Durand VFW, and loved to play Bingo. Surviving are; daughters, Patricia A. Gooch of Florida, Linda K. (Larry) Jeter of Lennon, Ruth E.(Richard) Pagan of Lennon, Leslie G. Wolverton of Florida, sons, Bruce A. Gooch of Florida, Bradley K. Gooch of Lennon, 20 Grandchildren, 33 Great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, sister Eunice Malinich of Durand, brother Owen (Illona) Eastridge of Linden, sister-in-law Lois Eastridge of Goodrich, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 8 brothers and sisters, 2 grandchildren infant Ruby and Danielle Gooch. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
