Dorothy English

ENGLISH, Dorothy - Age 97, of Linden, passed away April 16, 2023. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, April 21, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Compassus Hospice, Linden Presbyterian Church or Order of Eastern Star #175. Dorothy was born July 26, 1925 in Flint, the daughter of Myrl E. and Mary E. (Perkins) Johnson. She was a loving mother to four children and a good friend to many.  Dorothy enjoyed working at Marx Sisters, where she was a party planner for over 25 years. She was a member of Linden Presbyterian Church and member of the Linden Eastern Star #175 and Rebekah Lodge 714. She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Rick) Fraidenburg; grandchildren, Stacey (Mark) Saucier, Jamie Bolton, James English, Dustin Fraidenburg, Jessica English, Dana (Zak) King; great-grandchildren, Emily, Kaitlyn, Kassey, J.J., Greyson, Isaac and Owen; special family friend Jan Marx Harris. She was preceded in death by her sons, James, Larry and Darrell; brothers, Bruce, Clifford and Harold.
