CULLEN, Dorothy A., age 94, a resident of the McFarlan Home, died at Genesys Convalescent Center, Monday, February 2, 2009. Mrs. Cullen was born in Detroit on October 8, 1914, the daughter of William and Anna (Baetz) Boyd. She and Frederick Cullen were married in Detroit in 1940. Mrs. Cullen was a Guidance Counselor with the Reeths-Puffer School District in Muskegon for many years. She was a long time member of St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Flint. Surviving are a daughter Mary and husband, Dr. John Snell of Grand Blanc, a son, Frederick Cullen, Jr. and wife Donna of Lexington, Ohio. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son William and a daughter Ann Margarite. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 7, 2009 at St. Pauls Episcopal Church, 711 S. Saginaw St. Flint. The Very Rev. Martin S. Field will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 A.M. Saturday to service time. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Paul's Outreach.
