COLWELL, Dorothy Kathryn Beverly - Age 92, of Lake Orion, died Friday, September 30, 2011. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Fenton United Methodist Church, 119 S. Leroy St., Fenton. Pastor Jeremy Peters officiating. Burial in Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Monday from 2-5 and 6-9 PM and at the church Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Fenton United Methodist Church Food Pantry or Gideon's International. Dorothy was born April 28, 1919 in Elmira, New York, the daughter of Herbert and Jessica (Sohmers) Narsh. She had resided in Lake Orion for many years. She had attended Pontiac Central High School and was a member of the Free Methodist Church. Surviving are: 4 children, Dennis and wife Mary Lynn Colwell of Fenton, Cheryl and husband Jack Scribner of Metamora, Ronald and wife Rhoda Colwell of Central Lake and Kathy and husband David Wiegand of Rochester; daughter-in-law, RaeAnne Colwell of Mayville; 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
