Dorothy Thelma Bell

BELL, Dorothy T- of Linden, age 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Wellbridge of Fenton.  Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Friday, January 26th at Fenton United Methodist Church, 119 South Leroy Street in Fenton.  Reverend Jeff Jaggers officiating.  Burial in Flint Memorial Park following services.  Those desiring may make contributions to Fenton United Methodist Church or Loose Senior Center of Linden.  Visitation will be held prior to services on Friday from 10 am to 12 pm at Fenton United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Bell was born in Flint, Michigan on August 19, 1931, to Henry and Marie (Adolf) Dreuth.  She married Thomas Bell, Jr., on October 25, 1952, at First Reformed Church in Flint.  She was very involved with the Fenton Schools and Fenton Little League.  She enjoyed tennis, golf, knitting, playing cards, winters in Florida, and spending time with her family.  Surviving are children, Michael Bell of Linden, Thomas (Colette) Bell III of Palatine, Illinois, Bethany (Todd) Heney of Fenton, Barbara (Michael) Lenz of Fenton; grandchildren, Lyndsey (Tim) Barker, Kenneth (Jamie) Bell, Merritt and Jack Bell, Katelyn (Daniel) Izundegui, Sarah (Evan) Welch, Adam Heney, Lauren (Anthony) Diamond, and Alyson Lenz.  Great grandchildren, Henry and Charlotte Barker, and Ellie Bell.  She was preceded in death by a baby son in 1962 and her husband in 2000.
