WILSON, Doris Rose - Age 77, of Fenton, died Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 6481 Faussett Rd, Howell, with Fr. Gregg Pleiness celebrating. Burial at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Sunday from 7-9 PM; Monday from 4-8 PM where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 PM; and Tuesday at church from 10:00 AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Mrs. Wilson was born February 23, 1932, the daughter of Henry John and Josephine (Kalin) Hollkamp. She married Maurice E. "Stub" Wilson April 29, 1954 in Louisville, KY. She resided in Fenton since coming from Flint in 1970. Mrs. Wilson was an avid bird watcher and loved her Yorkshire Terriers. Surviving are: husband, Maurice E. "Stub"; 2 sons, Dr. Maurice II and wife Sonja Wilson of Modesto, CA and Bradley and wife Michelle Wilson of Fenton; 5 grandchildren, Courtney and husband Andrew Conway of Milford, Megan Wilson of Modesto, CA, Carrisa Wilson of Ypsilanti, Carrie Wilson of Kalamazoo and Max Wilson of Modesto, CA; 2 sisters-in-law, Audrey Kocher of Hale and Barbara Wilson of Hale; several nieces and nephews; 2 faithful companions, Brianne and Angel.
