Doris Utt

Utt, Doris C., 81, of Flint, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the service time. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Utt may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Shriners Children's Hospital. Doris was born July 3, 1937 in Crossville, Alabama the daughter of Willie Black McPherson and Sarah Pauline (Gladden) McPherson. She retired from General Motors in 1995 following 19 years of service. She enjoyed attending church and her favorite hobbies were bingo, hockey, old gospel music, casino trips, traveling, quilting, and spending time with family. She is survived by three children, Donald (Melanie) Utt, Cathy Hayes, and Patricia (Randy) Keltner; her brother, Tom McPherson; seven grandchildren, Nikki Jones, Starla (Aaron) Dean, Autumn Bynum, Andrea Keltner, Lisa Keltner, Trisha (Patrick) Flaherty, and Jeffrey Dougherty; several great-grandchildren; niece, Debbie (Keith) Ducket and nephew, Bill Widmer. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Sarah (Gladden) McPherson; sister, Helen Longlott, brother, Ted McPherson; grandson, Matthew Utt; and great-grandson, Braylen Kruger.
