Doris Vera Sutter

SUTTER, Doris Vera - Age 84, of Flint Twp., died Friday, December 10, 2004 at her residence. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, December 13, 2004 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek, Father Amos Wischmeyer celebrant. Interment in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a vigil service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Sutter was born in Godalming, England on February 10, 1920, the daughter of Charles and Bessie (Merry) Hammond. She married Donald George Sutter on July 27, 1946 at St. Matthews Church in Flint. She was a veteran of British Royal Air Force for 5 years. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. She was a loving wife and mother. Survived by husband Donald; 3 children, Linda and husband Dan McConkey of Royal Oak, Robert and wife Joyce Sutter of Sterling Heights, Karen and husband Mark Corcoran of CT; 8 great-grandchildren, Scott and wife Denise McConkey, Greg McConkey, Andrea Rachele, Courtney Sutter, Todd, Brian and Katelynn Corcoran; brother, John and wife Doris of Petersfield, England. She was preceded in death by her parents.
