Doris Rich

Doris J. L'Hommedieu-Rich -- Age 85, of  Grand Blanc, died April 16, 2020. Graveside services will be held privately at Evergreen Cemetery , Grand Blanc. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center,  6063 Fenton Road, Flint. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimers Association. Doris was born February 8, 1935 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Raymond and Ruby (Tarrant) Henderson. She was married to Byron L'Hommedieu on July 10, 1954 in Flint and he preceded her in death November 29, 1985. She was then married to Neil Rich on August 21, 1990 and he preceded her in death November 18, 2004.  She had worked as an accountant for GM, Millhouse, and Z Weight. . She was a member of the Swartz Creek Church of Christ. Surviving are: children, Dennis (Sandra) L'Hommedieu of Swartz Creek, Leann Haddix of Ortonville, Linda (Kelly) Bukosky of Grand Blanc; step-children, Jill (Harold) Higgerson of Swartz Creek, Kim (Kimmy) Rich of Mt. Morris, Douglas (Sandy) Rich of Flint; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Byron L'Hommedieu; husband Neil Rich; brother Robert Henderson; sister Emma Lou Smith; and step-son Craig Rich. The family would like to thank Bella Vita Senior Care for all the care that was given to Doris. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
