PARKER, Doris V. - Age 89, of Byron, died October 11, 2016. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Pastor Crystal Thomas will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of service Sunday. Those desiring may make a contribution to the charity of their choice in memory of Doris. Doris was born August 17, 1927 in Southfield Twp., the daughter of Odbert Reid and Pearl Edith (Lundgren) Townsend. She played piano at Argentine United Methodist Church for 22 years and enjoyed entertaining at nursing homes. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her children, Frederick Bretzlaff, Diane Lynn Duris, Kathleen Bretzlaff, Daniel (Charlotte) Bretzlaff, Heidi (Russell) Morse, Leslie Duane (Rita) Parker, Teresa (Tom) Stuenkel, Doris Sue Parker; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
