NICHTER, Doris Marie (Lanning) - Age 88, of Linden, died June 11, 2019. Services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Pastor Wes Morris will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet, Fenton. Doris was born November 1, 1930 in Linden, the daughter of Lee and Esther (Morey) Lanning. She was a graduate of Linden High School and was the 1947 Homecoming Queen. Doris is survived by her children, Sheryl Carpenter, Steven (Cheryl) Goss and Jack Goss; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Goss, Don Arnold and Bill Nichter; son, Wesley Lee Goss; four brothers and a sister. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
