HOFFNER, Doris Louise - Age 98, of Linden, died Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Botsford Hospital, Farmington Hills. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden, with Pastor Bill Moull officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 12:00 PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Lung Association. Mrs. Hoffner was born October 17, 1912 in Tennessee. She married Vernon R. Hoffner February 22, 1941 and he preceded her in death in 1991. She was a member of the Loose Senior Center in Linden. Surviving are: 2 sons, Vernon and wife Nancy Hoffner of Farmington Hills and Bruce Hoffner of Oxford; 5 grandchildren, Wayne Hoffner of Flint, Jeff Hoffner of Holly, Garry and wife Kelly Hoffner of Grand Blanc, Carrie and husband Daniel Bendall of Farmington and Stephen and wife Coray Hoffner of Chicago, IL; 6 great grandchildren, Travis, Dylan, Jonathon, Joseph, Nolan and Elliot.
