Doris L. Hill

HILL, Doris L.  Age 81 of Flint, died Monday, August 1, 2005 at Willowbrook Manor.  Mrs. Hill was born in Flint on January 18, 1924 the daughter of Harry and Lillian (Sargent) Couture and has been a lifelong resident of the area.  She and Russell M. Hill were married May 5, 1965 in Flint, he preceded her in death in 1998.  She was a retired barmaid after many years of working. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos. Surviving are   2 sons; Leon Martin and wife Cheryl of Flint, David Martin of Fenton; 2 daughters, Lillian Flanagin and husband Raymond of Flint and Marlene Boone of Flint. Also surviving are two special grandsons, Tony and Rusty along with 19 other grandchildren,  many  great-grandchildren and a special friend Maxine. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sons and 1 brother and1 sister.  Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 4, 2005 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd.,  Pastor Dale Lewis will  officiate and burial will be in Flint Memorial Park.  Visitation at the funeral home will be from 6 to 8 P.M. today and Wednesday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M.
