Doris Estella Fisher

FISHER, Doris Estella -- Age 84, of Flint Township, died March 15, 2011 at Brians House Hospice, Davison. Funeral Services will be 1 PM Saturday, March 19 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be 4-9 PM Thursday, 1-9 PM Friday, 12 Noon until time of funeral Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Doris E. Fisher memorial Fund. Mrs. Fisher was born December 29, 1926 in Flint the daughter of Dale C. and Florence Jean (Bott) Greene. She married Leonard P. Fisher on July 20, 1946 in Flint; he preceded her in death April 16, 2004. She was a member of the West Flint Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are: two daughters Rhoda Jean Smith, Dawn and her husband Steven Gerics; grandchildren, Mindy McIntosh, Aerik McIntosh; sister Verna Wiley, all of Flint; brother Rod and wife Carmen Greene of Grand Rapids; many nieces and nephews; step-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lynn Marie Greene and Joyce Parr; brother Harvey Greene; and husband Leonard Fisher.
