BALL, Doris Marie -- Age 89, of Farwell, MI, formerly of Swartz Creek, died November 8, 2009. Services will be 11 AM Thursday, November 12 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Pastor Lawrence Gill officiating. Visitation will be 10 AM until the time of service Thursday. Doris was born July 23, 1920 in Swartz Creek the daughter of George Elmer and Majel Marie (Wade) Campbell. She married Emory R. Ball on October 14, 1939 in Swartz Creek; he preceded her in death February 27, 2002. She had resided in Swartz Creek until 1982 moving to Lake, MI, and then Farwell, MI. Surviving are: son, Emory William and wife Donna Ball of Farwell; grandson Doug Pesik of Mt. Pleasant; granddaughter, Jeanette and husband Merle Harmon of Farwell; two great-granddaughters, McKenzie and Mallory Harmon; sisters-in-law, Marion Campbell of Davison, Marlene Campbell of Swartz Creek, Irene Campbell of Swartz Creek, Kay Campbell of Saginaw; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Emory; sisters Bernice Gould, Natalie Parker; and brothers, Link, Al, Roger, and Bill Campbell.
