Dora Denicolo

DeNicolo, Dora Therese - age 92, of Fenton, died December 19, 2020. A private family Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 6481 Faussett Rd, Howell, MI 48855 with Rev. Fr. Gregg Pleiness celebrant. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. A public Memorial Mass and celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org). Dora was born September 13,1928 in Flint, the daughter of Antonio and Modesta (Capaldo) Fratianni. She was a graduate of All Saints High School and married Kelly DeNicolo on July 9, 1949. Dora had worked in sales at Smith Bridgmans and K-Mart. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and enjoyed knitting, sewing and cooking. Surviving are: husband, Kelly; seven children, John (Deborah) DeNicolo, Phyllis (John) Jessup, Therese Michael, Paula Dell'Aringa, Anthony (Patty) DeNicolo, Christopher DeNicolo, and Matthew (Beth) DeNicolo; 12 grandchildren, Jeff (Kim) DeNicolo, Cathie (Matthew) Mroczkowski, Kristina Balcer, John (Dylan) Michael, Marci Michael, Martin DeNicolo, Anna (Mike Gaiser) DeNicolo, Jacqueline (Jon) Vigi, Austin Jessup, Sydney DeNicolo, Samantha DeNicolo, and Kelly DeNicolo; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Macko; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; sister, Antoinette Egner; two sons-in-law, Gregory Dell'Aringa and Richard Michael. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
