FERGUSON, Donnavie Eunice - Age 97, of Lenox formerly of Clio, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, April 17, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clio. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of your choice. Donnavie was born November 6, 1919 in Otisville, the daughter of James and Ruby (Sanford) Schlosser. She was a graduate of Clio High School. She married Francis Allen "Al" Ferguson June 24, 1938 in Clio. Her primary job was always wife and mother but after the death of her husband, she was employed by TG & Y as a clerk, Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn in the gift shop, and Flint Osteopathic Hospital in the Dietary Department. Donnavie enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting, sewing, and crossword puzzles. Surviving are: her daughters, Faye Brown and Janelle Green; grandchildren, Tammie Brown and Monica (Ryan) MacKay; great grandchildren, Alexander Brown-Rohe, Cordelia Brown-Quinn, Jackson MacKay, and Oliver MacKay; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Al Ferguson; daughter, Melodie Ferguson; sons-in-law, Darrell Brown and James Green; siblings, Thelma Covert, Goldie Ackerman, Vera Lehr, and Overton Schlosser.
