Donna J. PEEL

PEEL, Donna J., age 75 of Flint Twp., died Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Maplewoods Manor Nursing Home in Clio. Mrs. Peel was born in Lapeer on September 16, 1933 the daughter of Raymond T. and Lois (Butters) Storey. She has been a Flint area resident most of her life. She was an owner/operator of Donna's Grill and Catering for 35 years. Mrs. Peel was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Oakley Traynor Post 64 of American Legion. Surviving are her 6 children: Rhonda Jones (David), Donn Peel (Cindy), David Peel (Crystal), Renee Peel (Brad), Daniel Peel (Sandy) and Theresa Ingle (Dale), as well as 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.The family would like to give special thanks to our Maplewoods Manor family and to Genesys Hospice. Donna's family will receive visitors at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc, Twp. on Thursday, March 5, 2009 beginning at 11:00 A.M. and continuing to 3:00 P.M. at which time the funeral service will begin with Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettel officiating. Private interment at Flint Memorial Park will be on Friday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Donna's Memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Associaton or Genesys Hospice.
