Donna Murdock

MURDOCK, Donna Jean (Woodrich) – Age 90, of Flint, formerly of Clio, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 30. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Donna was born in Flint, Michigan on April 18, 1930, the daughter of Herbert and Henrietta (Spencer) Woodrich. She was a 1948 graduate of Flint Northern High School. Donna worked at Fisher-Body before her marriage and later at McDonald Dairy as a bookkeeper. She married Walter Murdock on April 21, 1951. Together they raised a family of five and were married for 69 years. She is survived by her husband, Walt; her five children, Joyce Murdock, Jan Hartranft (John), Steve Murdock, Julie Murdock, and Patrick Murdock; nine grandchildren: Annie (Will) Gatziolis, Sean (Courtney) Brown, Ava Chatterson, Kyle Brown, Conner Murdock, Ryan (Lauren) Brown, Riley Murdock, Travis Brown, and Hank Murdock; two great-grandchildren: Colton and McKenna Brown; brother, Herb Woodrich; nephew Paul (Peg) Woodrich and nieces Debbie (Chris) Harwell, Diane (Robert) Gale, and Donna Woodrich; and several cousins. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Herb and Henrietta “Hank” Woodrich, and her sister-in-law, Gloria Woodrich. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
