GORDON, Donna R. - Age 84, of Fenton, died Friday, June 15, 2012 at her residence. Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 6, 2012 at St. Jude Episcopal Church, 106 E. Elizabeth St, Fenton, with Pastor Josh Hoover officiating. Interment following at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to the St. Jude Episcopal Church Memorial Fund. Donna was born December 2, 1927 in Fenton, the daughter of William H. and Nina L. (Robbins) Johnson. She was a 1945 graduate of Fenton High School. She married Vance H. Gordon April 27, 1947 in Fenton. Donna retired in 1988 from The State Bank as an Assistant Vice President. She had resided in Fenton her entire life. She was a member of St. Jude Episcopal Church, Fenton. Surviving are: husband, Vance; 3 daughters, Kimberly and husband Robert Goodspeed of Woolwich, ME, Kyle and husband Dennis Stanton of Athens, MI and Kelly Gordon and husband Frank Provato of Waterbury Center, VT; 3 granddaughters, Amy Stanton of Athens, MI, Amanda and husband Dave Snyder of Indiana and Kaitlyn Goodspeed of Woolwich, ME; sister, Harriet Striggow of Holly; several nieces and nephews.
