Donna Bignall

BIGNALL, Donna M. - Age 90, of Grand Blanc, Tawas and Sebewaing, died Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Committal service will be held 2PM Monday, November 28, 2016 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd. Holly. Donna was born August 23, 1926 in Mundy Township, the daughter of Frances and Mary Ellen (Barnum) Christner. She was a graduate of Bendle High School. Donna married Charles Bignall July 18, 1945 in Watsonville, CA and he preceded her in death on November 15, 2012. She lived in Mundy Township her entire life until her husband's retirement. They then spent the summers in Tawas City and the winters in Arizona. Donna was very well known for being a caregiver to all. Surviving are: children, James (Sharon) Bignall of Tawas, Janet (Herbert) Crandell of Grand Blanc, and Jerry (Joyce) Bignall of Sebewaing; 6 grandchildren, Rene McMann, Terry (Tammy) Bignall, Annette (Mike) DeWilde, Sandra (Steve) Light, Jerry Jr. (Kathryn) Bignall, and Thomas (Guadalupe "Adriana") Bignall; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great - great grandchildren; sister-in -law, Vera Selfridge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parents; sisters, Vera West; and Betty Selfridge; brother, William Christner.
